A very very long time ago I visited a craft fair in Wiesbaden Germany and on a ribbon stall they were selling giant wooden cotton reels. My friend and I just looked at each other and said simultaniously, “we have to get one of those”. I had absolutely no idea what I would do with it but it was the cutest thing I’d seen in ages. Of course it has been sitting in my cupboard of ‘alterables’ for well over a year until I finally decided recently it was time to do something with it.

I thought I’d turn it into some sort of fabric story book which I could wind up around the reel. I cut my strip of calico and got out the stamps which would help me tell my story. I just started stamping from one end and the story ended up playing itself out through the stamps. I added some colour with Faber Castell Big Brush pens and stamped onto some pieces of coloured fabric. I cut small pieces of fabric and ironed them onto heat and bond, stamped then cut out the images. I could then iron these onto the fabric with the heat and bond. I used a black journal pen to write the story and added a few beads and french knots. I then cut a second piece of calico and backed it onto the main piece and ran it all through the sewing machine. I wanted a raw, almost journalistic look so I used black thread and left all my edges raw. I stitched onto each end some fabric to tie around the cotton reel.

Here are the stamps I used to tell my story:

I hope you enjoyed my fabric story book. Maybe your stamps could tell your story. For a full list of all the stamps I used see the top of this post.

Hello lovely people! Did it ever happen to you to buy something and never use it? Well, it happened to me, I’ve bought a “decorate it yourself” calendar for 2011 and never did anything with it! What I felt about it was shame… Till I saw that my lovely co-DT member, Els, shared on her blog files for a DIY 2012 calendar! So I’ve taken out my old calendar, unmounted it and used the back of each page to create a brand new 2012 calendar! My shame was gone and was replaced with something like pride! Here are excerpts from it:

This calendar is also supposed to help me remember people dear to my heart to whom I’d love to wish birthday wishes. So I’ve printed their names and dates on copy paper, cut it in stripes and adhered over some stamped images along with one small picture of one of the birthday persons. Here, obviously, it’s my daughter! Along with snow flakes from Let it Snow! set.

Next up is my son. The other day, my kids were playing with my inks and stamped with pads directly on paper. Then my son doodled something over the squares and it looked gorgeous! So I took his idea, stamped colors from his tee and stamped also some robots from Programmed Robots set! Frankly, after I did this page I didn’t want to move forward unless making all other pages with the same technique! Finally, I overcame this tentation but not entirely. To be continued…

For the April page I was inspired by the proverb “April showers bring May flowers”. And clear embossed a cloud from Wishing you Sunshine set and then colored rain drops with markers in rainbow colors. Stamping Cherry Blossoms from the new set was a breeze and a pleasure!

My birthday is in May and I even have a not very old picture of myself with my daughter! It was a nice occasion to print it! And since it’s quite rare, I used the camera from Snapshot set to underline this fact!

Another page without any picture! And with only one birthday date!!! I’ve added a simple but nice stamping technique: first, I’ve stamped some flowers from Abundant Blossoms in white, let them dry and second I’ve overstamped with butterflies from Colorful Companions set. The flowers are gently peeking from under butterflies, here’s a detail shot:

Next up is the July page with my nephew’s picture. I used the stamp from Road Trip set – this sweet boy and his family will be going away soon after plus it’s the usual vacation month. So this “bon voyage” stamp was very “à propos”!

In August, in Switzerland we’re celebrating our country’s foundation day, there are always tons of fireworks! Hence the stars (Back to the Basics set) in all the colors of the rainbow! And my favorite technique of the moment – multi color heat embossing!

September is the back-to-school month by definition so I’ve stamped the whole alphabet from Summer Alpha set after first aligning each and every letter on my cutting mat. I liked the effect so much that I’ve stamped the alphabet on copy paper for my kids to play with. Some more ideas are coming…

We’re skipping one month and going straight to November. In Polish, my mother-tongue, it means literally “falling leaves”. So here they are (from Floating Leaves set), white embossed and stamped over with ink pads directly to paper! I told you I liked it!

A little close up for you to appreciate the look! After stamping with pads, I’ve smeared ink with my fingers which made those leaves pop a bit more.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this “trash-to-treasure” post and understand now why I’m sort of proud of saving us some money on buying another DIY calendar. But I might spend some more for next year! Yes, stamping is dangerous so beware!

Happy stamping,

I’ve been thinking for quite some time now about making a journal totally from junk. Junk mail, envelopes, packaging, just about anything goes and as most of us know there’s alot of very pretty packaging out there. I have a chest of drawers in my craft room full of it. In fact I’ve become so famous now within my circle of friends for collecting stuff that they keep and donate the most interesting things you can imagine. I felt it was now time to dive into it and pull out some of the best pieces to make into my journal.

The base for the journal was a wonderful long black envelope which I folded into three to make a fold over cover. The front has a doily and stamp from the Seal It stamp set. I then collected tags, packaging, envelopes and all sorts of other goodies, folded them and laid them on top of one another then just ran it all through my sewing machine. To hide the spine stitching and strengthen the fold I use some furnishing fabric glued on with gel medium. The furnishing fabric came in a huge box of samples and given to me as a christmas present by a crafty friend. Even the closure is the bottom from a felted jumper with a button on it.

Once it was put together I just needed to decorate it. I wanted the book to reflect my personality so it became a journal about me.

Here I’ve used a tag by Canvas Corp (partnered with My Stamp Box) and splattered it with ink, stamped the journaling before adding it to the page. That coffee ring stain in the new Enjoy your Latte set comes in very handy for backgrounds. Here I used it with black acrylic paint. (Clean your stamps well afterwards).

Below I’ve used mini pennants and some of the Snapshot stamps.

I’ve totally fallen in love with the houses from the new Lovely Houses set, they’re just so totally me. All the craft cardstock used throughout the book was recycled from packaging.

Funnily enough the piece of acrylic for the page below came in my box of new stamps so nothing has gone to waste. I painted over some gesso, sprayed with some ink and stamped on the tea cup from the new Special Teas set.

The flowers from the Garden Sketches set was stamped onto some recycled craft card and glued to the music score page. A few more flowers were added to fill in the gaps.

You can just about see the coffee stain stamp again on this last page. I did say it makes a truly funky background especially on a grunge look.

By this time my book had become quite fat and uneven so stamping the tree from the Tree for all Seasons set, wasn’t perfect. I had to touch up some of it with an embossing pen before adding some embossing powder. When I wanted to stamp the snowflakes from the Let It Snow set, I used the tip of my finger rather than the acrylic block as this gave a much better impression on the uneven surface.

I hope you enjoyed my show and tell junk journal. Have a go at your own and see what interesting things you can find to stamp onto.

Welcome to day 10 of our 12 Days of Christmas! Today I’m going to show you a clear and easy Christmas decoration to add to your festive home décor!

All you need is: myStamp BOX Let it Snow, StazOn (here: Opaque White and Metallic Silver), clear plastic baubles that can be opened into two halves, transparent sheets, laminating pouches, nylon thread, crimp beads (optional) and a couple of rings and pendants.

How to: I opened all the clear plastic balls and took the smallest snow flakes from the myStamp BOX Let it Snow set and stamped the insides of the baubles with the images. Instead of using an acrylic block, I just stamped with one of the snow flakes on top of my index finger. If it doesn’t stay put on your finger, you can always use something like a glue dot.

For the stars I stamped snow flakes in white and silver on transparent sheets. I traced a few stars on each sheet and cut them out. I inked the sides of each star with the silver ink pad. Next I placed 6 stars in a laminating pouch and laminated them in my laminator. They were then cut out again. I punched a hole in the top and the bottom and attached the stars to the baubles with nylon thread.

Check back tomorrow for a more Christmas inspiration from Wendy!

Welcome to day 4 of our 12 days of Christmas and for my day I’ve chosen to make four tags featuring the adorable Santa Image from the Hohoho stamp set. It may be Christmas but I still managed to sneak in my favourite turquise colour using embossing powder on the snowflakes (Let it Snow ). I used Rusty Hinge Distress ink and Santa Baby spray ink on the background along with the embossed snowflakes. A touch of red at the top and bottom and dear old Santa coloured with Promarkers.

Happy 4th day of Christmas everyone.

Welcome to Day 2 in our 12 Days of Christmas here at myStamp Box!

Every year, I try a new recipe to give to my kids’ teachers as part of their Christmas gift – nothing like homemade treats to brighten the holidays!

This year, I found this fun recipe (shared here) for “Reindeer Food” – it’s easy enough to have the kids help out! It’s also reported to be highly addictive so I’m keeping my distance!

I recycled a product package by decorating it with patterned paper and stamped a tag to match!

To create the tag, I stamped white Super Stock using the Let It Snow stamp set and Versamark ink. After heat embossing it, using clear embossing powder, I cut it into a tag shape and then sprayed glimmer mists over the embossed images. I then layered plain white printer paper over the cardstock and using an iron, on low heat, ironed the tag until the embossing is absorbed by the printer paper, leaving the white cardstock below. (You may want to use two sheets of paper, to protect your iron, if you actually use it for household chores! )

Here’s a closer look:

I then stamped the sentiment in a darker blue and embellished the tag. Quick and easy!

Check back on Monday when the lovely, talented Jill will share her project!

One of the best times of the year is the time leading up to Christmas, when we get to light candles, bake cookies and keep many secrets. As a kid I always have had an advent calendar, made by my grandmother. It was mostly filled with sweets.

Our boys still enjoy their calendars and don’t seem to outgrow them. For this advent I made a family calendar which will be hanging in the kitchen. For every day between today and December 24th, we will be adding one mini ornament to the Christmas tree, until it is fully decorated.

For the tree I chose different colour card stock, cut it into organic shapes and assembled the tree. I stamped it with zipper and zigzag stamps from “Repeat after Me” in brown, then smeared brown and green inks and white acrylic paint all over the tree. I punched 24 holes and added 24 gold brads which will be holding the ornaments.

The background was cut from a piece of gardening burlap and stamped with white snowflakes (“Let it Snow”) and acrylic paint. I added green and white acrylic paints and the word “advent” at the bottom.

For the ornaments I chose a selection of our Christmas stamps from several stamp sets and used brown ink on shrink plastic. The images were cut out, hole punched and shrunk. A small wire was added and they were ready to be hung!

The whole project took about 3 hours from start to finish.

Come and see the fully decorated tree on December 24th on our blog!

Until then enjoy our 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS projects coming up in the next days! We will have some very decorative and festive ideas in stock for you!

Happy Stamping,

Love,

I love tags! And here is what I created with Canvas Corp and myStamp BOX’s products: I try out several different styles that I will recreate for all the gifts that I am going to wrap. For the hop I want to show you two different types.

The first one is done with the round chalkstock tags from Canvas Corp. I stamped snowflakes from the “Let it Snow…” stamp set with a Tsukineko glue pad and then used white embossing powder, heat embossed and added a small white clothes pin from Canvas Corp. The white and black look so fresh together!

The wrapping for this present was made by stamping repeatedly on a white sheet with black Adirondack ink, using the same stamps as for the tags. I wrapped a box of home made cards and added the tag. Just glue the clothespin on the top and attach the tag.

The second set of tags was made with heat embossing as well! I wanted to try out, if embossing works on canvas – and it does! I love the subtle effect on the canvas. The details are not the same as on the tags above, but the snowflake is still very visible.

Both tags were made the same way: firstly stamping the snowflake from “Let it Snow…” with a glue pad onto the canvas tags by Canvas Corp. and heat embossing with white embossing powder. Then I coloured the canvas tag with red and green inks from the distressing ink line by Ranger. The Christmas sentiment was from the “Dotty Christmas” stamp set and stamped repeatedly to make it darker and more visible. Lastly I stamped a sewing pattern from the “Repeat after me” stamp set, cut a coordinating paper for the back and added a small clothes pin from Canvas Corp.

I love wrapping my presents in reusable materials. Here is an example how I would use the tag on a present. The cord is by Canvas Corp. The tag is simply tucked under.

Now, don’t forget to leave a comment below for a chance to WIN one of our TWO product giveaways! Check in on our blog on Monday to see, if you are one of the lucky winners!

Once a year it’s here – National Scrapbooking Day. Although we think that every day is Scrapbooking (or cardmaking) day

However this weekend we are celebrating NSD and are sharing some of our beautiful layouts with you. And since celebrations are (mostly) nothing without presents, we are giving out a stamp set to one of you leaving a message today or over the weekend (deadline Sunday 6pm, EST). A winner will be announced on Monday on this blog.

And now – be inspired and enjoy our projects!

by Sue Sykes: Using the Border Lines sets, I stamped and heat emboss 10 squares, and used markers to colour in the squares. I cut our the centres and then attached them to photos and cut each square out. I used one side of the box and the circle to create the “10″ in my title, using the same technique as the squares. The banner was created by affixing an American Crafts letter sticker to cardstock. I then inked my banner stamp with Versamark and stamped over the letter, centering it on the banner. I sprinkled with clear embossing powder and heat embossed the entire thing – sticker and all!

by Marsha Valk: I’ve created a lay-out using Colour Me, Borderlines and Roadtrip. First I sprayed my background with mists, then I stamped and embossed the Borderlines images and then I taped all my pictures in place. The title is stamped on patterned paper and then cut out and adhered to the lay-out.

Supplies used: all paper: Studio Calico Metropolitan kit, the mists are self-made (Talens Ecoline, with added Ranger Perfect Pearls), embossing powder: AC Zing! Metallic Finish Blue, Versamark, and Stazon Rusty Brown for the ‘You are here’ and the date (stamped with an office date stamp). iPhone photo apps used: Instagram and Hipstamatic. The journaling reads something like: ‘How have I lived without an iPhone for so long? I’ve had mine for a Month now and it’s always at my side. E-mail, internet, Facebook all within an arms reach! But the most fun are the photo apps. They make even very mundane things look awesome!’

by Wendy Morris: I used the following MSB stamp sets – Sigh Gush Gasp, Seal It, Symbols

by Jolene Johnston: the layout uses Summer Alphas and Snapshot. It also uses papers from our product partner Core’dinations.

by Allison Cope: Allison used stamps from many different sets including Funky Circles, Graphic Borders, Timelines, Pennants and Birthday Numbers

by Jill Hildebrand: I used the Colour Me stamp set with bright yellow acrylic paint, and stamped slightly off the top of the layout.

by Birgit Koopsen: I used “Seal it!”, “Repeat after me” and “Timelines”. She added different buttons in the centres of the seat it stamps to create the graphic border at the bottom of her photo.

by Agata Pfister: Agata used the Let it Snow! stamp set and embossed with holographic powder.

by Janet Zeppa: Janet used the pennants set to create this banner.

by Jaine Drake: I’ve used Colour Me, Friday Night Stencil (in the background) and Snapshot! The film strip was stamped on a transparency.

by Rebecca Keppel: Rebecca used Snapshot, Symbols and Sigh, Gush, Gasp to break up her journaling.

Enjoy your NSD and have a creative weekend!

Happy Stamping,

Love,

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone!

For the remainder of March, all of our Design Team members have been paired up to create inspirational projects to share with you! Stay tuned to the blog for LOTS of great inspiration.

Since today is St. Patty’s Day, we thought we would bring you some Irish inspiration.

Melissa has created this fun glass to toast with the finest green beverage of your choice…

She has used the Mini Alphas for her sentiment and the cute flower centered circle is from the Lots of Dots alphabet set. To ensure that her ink is permanent, she’s used StazOn on the glassware.

I decided to wish Spring an early arrival. I’ve stamped a St. Patrick’s Day quote all over this plain-jane green plastic watering can to spruce it up.

The quote reads:

St. Patrick’s Day is an enchanted time – a day to begin transforming a winter’s dreams into summer’s magic. ~ Adrienne Cook.

I used a variety of different stamp sets to complete the quote:

Royal Flush, “St. Patrick’s”, “magic”; Color Me – Sentiments, “day”; Mini Alphas, “is an enchanted”, “transforming”, “Adrienne Cook”; Lots of Dots, “time”, “summer”; She Says – He Says, “=”; Rough Copy Alphabet, “a day”, into”; Color Me – Sentiments, “to”; Garden Sketches, the bee; Colour Me, “gin”, “a”; Funky Alphabet, “winter”; Lots of Dots Sentiments, “dreams”; Funky Flowers, leaves, dotted lines; Let It Snow, snowflakes.

We hope these green goodies have inspired you to create today!

Happy stamping!

Hey there Stampers,

I want to show you a quick & easy way to decorate a plain gift box and make the recipient say, “who cares what’s inside…….look at the packaging!!!!” (hahaha)

This is what you will need: any size plain white gift box, a craft mat (or wax paper), Versa & coloured dye ink, embossing powder, a heat gun, acrylic block, cotton balls, Stickles & your favourite mSB stamp set. I chose one of the latest & greatest: Pennants.

1. Stamp several images onto your gift box using VersaMark ink, adding embossing powder to the images as you stamp. Heat the images with your heat gun.

2. Continue around the entire gift box. You will now have several embossed images covering your box (white on white). The images will be hard to see, but watch what happens during the next step.

3. When you apply the ink (I’m using a deep purple) with the cotton ball, the embossed images will pop. I rubbed the ink all over the box and embossed images and then wiped off the ink on the embossed stamped images to reveal a crisp white image (see photo below).

4. I completed the process by adding a banner ribbon to the top of the embossed images with Stickles. This had to dry overnight.

5. I stamped another Pennant image on plain white cardstock and pop-dotted it to the front of the gift box. Some cute embellishments & ribbon add some whimsy.

I hope you have fun creating your own gift box today. My daughter has already claimed this one for her next party invite.

Here’s another take on the same project……only more winter-inspired. I used the Let It Snow! stamp set.

As guest designer for the month of January, I had the pleasure of creating with the perfect seasonal stamp set, “Let It Snow” ! It was definitely easy to come up with several project ideas involving snowflakes as we are right now stuck in the middle of snowy weather ourselves!

The first idea I would like to share with you involves Glimmer Mist stamping. Lately I love using the mist products on my creations and I have found that I really enjoy the results of stamping into the mist. It’s not very hard to do either… just as quick and easy as using a regular stamp pad actually! I have included here, step-by-step photos of achieving this technique! With the popularity of doilies these days, I thought that the larger snowflake images in the “Let It Snow” set would be beautiful stamped into the centers to create a lacy snowflake for decorating the front of a card or scrapbook layout. I hope you like the result of Glimmer Mist stamping and will give it a try on your next stamping project!

Here I have attached one of my snowflake stamped doilies to the front of a card. I also used several other doilies underneath to give more texture, as well as adding a scallop-cut piece of red sheer material over top of the stamped snowflake. I red button was sewn onto the center to attach and secure all layers to the card. For my card I also stamped 3 of the smaller snowflakes onto white cardstock and punched around each with a small circle punch. I adhered these to the side border with pop-dots to give added dimension, and finished the card by stamping the Let it Snow sentiment near the bottom.

I hope you will be inspired to try stamping with Glimmer Mist! Thanks so much for having me over for this month!

Andrea

I first chose a sheet of the Echo Park paper with a more subtle design to use for my layout’s background, and so I could stamp a snowflake pattern onto it. Then using a Ranger Clear-Resist Pad, I stamped a variety of the snowflake images onto the background. I then took a Brilliance Ink Pad in Moonlight White and stamped several more snowflakes all over, coating them and heating them with Clear Embossing Enamel.

To bring out the snowflakes appearance even more, I darkened the background to a blue-gray tone with some Glimmer Mist spray that I misted and rubbed over the area with a soft cloth. I love that you can use stamps to really give your patterned papers an even more customized and personalized look as I have done here!

Hello there! My name is Andrea Amu, from Pennsylvania and I am very excited to be the January Guest Designer here at myStamp BOX! It’s been so fun playing with the wonderful stamps offered here and I hope that you will be inspired by what I’ve created to share with you all!

A little about my creative-self… I can tell you that I’ve been enthusiastic about scrapbooking since 1997. I have earned an Art degree in college, and being crafty has been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember. Lately I’ve also really enjoyed the creative process of card making as well, and I find a real satisfaction from making a card to give to a loved one, as opposed to giving a store-bought greeting! This is one of the reasons why I enjoy incorporating stamping into my cards and scrapbook pages so much. With stamping you can achieve a greater personalization and a more customized look. I love that about stamping! My personal style tends to change up a bit from time to time, but I tend to be very textural in my works… layering is my thing! My creations are a good mix of eclectic and classic styles and I often refer to my style as Classic-Dimensional! My favorite products to use aside from stamps, include patterned paper, punches and my trusted Cricut and Cuttlebug machines.

I also enjoy submitting my work for publication and have had several projects of mine published in magazine and book publications for Memory Makers, Pinecone Press, Blue Media, and CARDS and Cricut magazines by Northridge Publishing. Aside from all my crafting I also like to decorate my home, shop at area flea-markets, antique malls and craft fairs, collecting and wearing unique pieces of silver and gemstone jewelry, and hanging out with my wonderful hubby and family!

Having recently purchased the “Wintertime” Paper collection from Echo Park, I knew the myStamp BOX “Let It Snow” stamps would make for a cozy pair!

For this card I decided to take on Eva’s, “No Patterned Paper” challenge that she has going on at the myStampBox blog!
I also did something different in that I used a set of stamps for something totally different… I used the snowflake stamps from the “Let It Snow” set, to create handmade flower embellishments for my card design! Often stamps do not have to solely be used for the theme that they are designed for … think outside the box!

Here I first designed the background of my card using the snow-dots stamp to create a black polka-dotted pattern. I cut and embossed a black frame and then stamped the snowflake designs onto white cardstock, altering the design to look more like a flower design by slightly rotating the position of the stamp each time I stamped the image on top of the other. I then used two different circle punches around the stamped images, one for the outer part of the flower and then a smaller punched circle to create the centers.

Andrea, thanks so much for being with us this month. I love your layout and your take on Eva’s challenge.

There will be more of Andrea’s creations in the coming week! Make sure to stay tuned!

Happy stamping,

Love,

After the holidays, it’s nice to send thank you notes or New Year’s notes to family and friends. I like to send personalized notecards and because they are so quick and easy to create , I often look for bargains on packaged cards after the holidays that can be altered to fit my needs.

The cards I found are glittered cards by DCWV. They are pretty, but they needed some pizzazz. Using MyStampBOX stamps, I was able to create a pretty set of personalized notecards.

I first stamped black snowflakes over the embossed white snow flakes with assorted snowflakes from the Let It Snow stamp set. I then stamped a large snowflake on Bazzill cardstock, one of our preferred partners, then cut it out as this was to be the base for my initial. Using the
Colour Me alphabet set , I stamped my initial on the same Bazzill cardstock and punched it out with a circle punch.

Then I punched a larger circle from white cardstock and applied it to a chipboard circle from Magistical Memories, one of our preferred partners. I applied a Zots foam dot (another one of our preferred partners) to the back of the initial to give it some dimension. I added a small strip of Bazzill cardstock under the snowflake and added 3 pearls. I then added pearls to some of the snowflakes to complete my card.

To dress up my envelope, I stamped assorted snowflakes in black ink on the back flap of my envelope to keep with the winter theme.

… my true love decided to cook me an amazing supper and the table was lit with these amazing candles!!!!!!

Well…..not really…..but here’s to always dreaming!!!!!!

I decided to use my AMAZING Let It Snow! stamp set this month and create some beautiful candles to display around the house this holiday season. I ended up using the stamp set in two different ways.

project #1: Snowflake embossed candle

This candle was created using a turquoise “base candle”, white embossing powder, a heat gun, the Let It Snow! stamp set & some colourful beads.

I poured white, fine embossing powder all over the candle and rubbed it in {the embossing powder seems to somewhat stick to the outside layer of the candle}. ** Be sure you put something down to protect your work surface. I heated the candle & the embossing powder with my heat gun (a small section at a time), watching the wax of the candle melt and making the embossing powder swirl around in the melting wax. While the wax was still hot, I pressed my Let It Snow! snowflake stamp into the hot wax to make an embossed impression on the candle (no ink needed). I quickly added some tiny beads, pressing them into the melted wax. I continued around the entire candle — heating, stamping the image & adding some beads.

project #2: Snowflake & Alcohol Ink Hurricane

I took a hurricane candle holder that I already had around the house and created a custom-made Christmas Hurricane. Using some Ranger Alcohol Inks (on the inside of the green hurricane), some silver spray paint (the base used to be black) and the Let It Snow! stamp set, this candle holder is now “decked” for the holidays.

I used white, fine embossing powder to add snowflakes to the outside of the hurricane. With the small votive candle lit inside, you can really see the Alcohol Ink “veins” and the crisp, white embossed snowflake images.

I trimmed the base of the candle holder with two embossed snowflake images on cardstock, with ribbon sandwiched between. I pop-dotted smaller snowflake images in the middle (on both sides).

Hope you have enjoyed this “6th DayInspiration” filled with creative ways to light up your Christmas Season.

May you find happiness & joy this Christmas,

I love to really go to town on the table decorations for Christmas dinner and always include a little gift of some sort in every place setting. This year I’ve decided to make these little pyramid boxes using a template found on the Stampington and company web site.

They’re made out of stiff watercolour paper which I’ve painted first with watercolour paints, then stamped using a Versafine ink pad and the Let It Snow stamp set. I then overstamped a second time using a Versamark ink pad and embossed in silver. I finished off the top with some wire and beads for a quirky look.

They’re just big enough to put 3 or 4 chocolates in or hang off the tree perhaps.
