I am dotty for dots…

One of my most treasured stamp sets has to be BOO. Not only do I adore the very Halloween specific images, but the solid dot is so much fun! I think I have used that more than any other stamp.
With this step by step I would like to show you how to use the solid stamp to create a very linear and quick greeting card.
Materials needed:
Stamp Sets used:
BOO
FLOATING LEAVES
GELEGENTLICHES
I have stamped the solid dot in two different ink colours onto white cardstock and punched them with a circle punch, still showing some white frame, as I prefer this look.
Punch slightly larger circles in a cardstock colour that matched your stamped image and layer
Using a variety of cardstock scraps in colours matching my chosen colour scheme, I started layering the background for my card.
Now adhere the stamped images to the background and add some sentiments and a little leaf image to complete your card.

Cakes and Candles
June 13, 2009 by Allison · 5 Comments
For some reason, I have a lot of birthdays to celebrate in June so I decided to make a bunch of fun birthday cards to add to my card stash for all my family and friends this month.
So I chose a simple colour palette of blue, purple, green and white to create my birthday cards.
Birthday Gifts

For my row of gifts, I create a reusable gift mask from the Happy Birthday stamp set and created a little line of wrapped gifts. I coloured them with Copic markers and added some Stickles for a little touch of whimsy!
Frosted Birthday Cake

I first created the piece of purple paper with the multiple rows of the “Happy Birthday to you” message from the Lines in Life stamp set in white embossing powder. I then cut out the scalloped circle from the purple paper with my Spellbinder’s Nestability and stamped a little paper pieced cake from the Happy Birthday stamp set to add to the center. The frosting on the cake is some Liquid Applique to create some additional dimension.
Birthday Bouquet

For this card, I stamped the flower from Happy Birthday stamp set multiple times all over the front of my white card. I coloured in my flowers with my Copics and then put clear embossing powder and heat embossed them. I then used my Copic air brush system and air brushed some soft purples and greens over the front and then spritzed on some Glimmer Mist for some fun speckles.
Large Candles

For this card I create a candle mask using the large candle from the Happy Birthday stamp set and created a row of large candles. I coloured them using my Copic markers and then added some Stickles to the melted wax part of the candle for some glittery fun. Since the birthday greeting from the Lines of Life stamp set is quite flexible, I bent it into a curved shape and stamped it above the candles.
I hope you enjoying peaking at my birthday card creations today. I hope these cards inspire you to create some birthday cards of your own.
Happy celebrating!

Mix and Match
March 3, 2009 by Marci · 13 Comments
One thing I love about “myStamp Box” stamps is that they mix and match so easily. Even the “theme” sets can be used with other sets!
For this card, I used the “Small Greetings” set, and the “Happy Birthday” set. I love that the birthday set has “non birthday” images as well. The flower can be used for a variety of occasions making it so much more versatile.

I used the same two stamp sets to create this fun card, which could also be used as a party invitation! I added some dimensional adhesive to make it really “pop”.

Don’t miss our contest this month! Check out the post on March 1st for details of how you can win….
