Marbleized Stain Backgrounds

Today I’m sharing a technique for making marbleized backgrounds using Distress Stains by Tim Holtz. I received a few of these for Christmas, and especially wanted to try the new white Picket Fence stain.

1. These are the colors I used: Worn Lipstick, Picket Fence, and Barn Door. I’m ready for Valentine’s Day!

9th day of Christmas

Hello everyone! Agata here with some more inspiration before Christmas!
The older I get, the more I’m nostalgic and realize how important traditions are. My husband’s grand-mother, 96 yrs old, was organizing each year a family gathering for her 6 children and their families. The latter grew and all in all we were something like 40…  |  read more »

Challenge Day: Krafty Kicks

I love these kinds of unexpected excursions and I wanted to create…  |  read more »

I regularly craft at a friends house and although I really love it, it can be a bit of a challenge too. It’s always a struggle to know what supplies to take with you (in my case: at the last minute…). And even if I manage to bring all the right stuff, I usually have…  |  read more »

Get Dirty!

I’m lucky enough to be the only female in our little family of 3 so I tend to make a lot of masculine layouts.  Since Father’s Day is only a few days away, I thought I’d share a few masculine layouts with you today.
ALMOST 6

For this layout I began by using some patterned papers from…  |  read more »

Take it the other way

Hello! Agata here to present you with a style challenge. I must admit, making cards for men is hard for me. I’m a woman, after all! So I thought, why not make a feminine card and then transform it into a masculine one. Here’s the first card:

I’ve used the fine stitching stamp from Repeat After…  |  read more »

Watercolour and Faux Batik background.

This has to be one of my favourite background techniques to do and every time I do it, I get excited.
The finished effect is so cool and looks like a work of pure art.

Firstly, for this technique to work well,  I used watercolour card, the smooth kind but you can use any white card as long…  |  read more »
