Let’s Share!

Stamps used: Repeat After Me; Rustic Outlines

Today, I want to share an altered clipboard that I created to display favourite photos in my studio.  It measures approximately 6″ x 9″ so it’s the perfect size to keep on my desk and just swap out the photo every so often.

Colourful canvas

Sometimes you just need to create for the sake of creating. I have an art journal that I use for this purpose, but I haven’t cracked it open for quite some time now. I was really beginning to feel a need to play with inks, paints and Glimmer Mists, so I decided that it would…  |  read more »

Challenge: Recycle/Recover

So many of us are going green and love to save money, so today’s challenge might be for you! My pal, Cheryl, recently went back to an office job and inherited lots of items from the previous owners. I wear my heart on my sleeve.

Being a really terrible hoarder as I’m sure most of us are, I’ve managed to hoard a huge collection of different quilting fabrics.  I no longer quilt but I do try to incorporate these fabrics into my mixed media projects and one of these projects recently was to make cuff bracelets.

These are so easy to…  |  read more »

Project Pick Me Up

A few years ago my friend purchased some decorated wood letters from a craft fair. One of the letters was decorated with basic patterned paper and a few flowers cut from coordinating paper. Over the years my friend has grown tired of its simple design and asked me to spruce it up. Today’s project shows…  |  read more »
