Blog banner

It may be absolutely freezing outside but I’m in the springy mood and ready to clean, order, and freshen up and that means my blog too.
I’ve made myself a new blog banner which is so easy and fun to do, this one took me just half an hour.

I started with a piece of card 28…  |  read more »

Road Trip

I’m off to England for the Easter break visiting family and as I don’t get to see them that often I imagine there’ll be lots and lots of photo’s taken. I thought I’d make an album in preparation for documenting my visit and the obvious choice is this Suitcase Chipboard album from My Stamp…  |  read more »

Happy Valentines Day.

As my posting day falls on 14th of course I had no choice but to make a Valentine. So here it is.

My thoughtful husband bought me a blank calendar for Christmas with each month ready for me to do with what I want. I chose a valentine theme to decorate it and started…  |  read more »

New Year, New Journal

I love a new journal and for Christmas I was lucky enough to receive a new Moleskin which I was just itching to use. Following on from the card I made for New Year, I adopted the same 3d stamping technique to my page as I had on the card.

Scandinavian inspiration

As soon as I saw these new Ornamental Flowers stamps they instantly made me think of Scandinavian folk art patterns.  A quick search through Pinterest (is there ever a quick search on there?)  came up with lots of gorgeous patterns, most of them red on white backgrounds and very simple designs.
I thought I might have…  |  read more »

Bad stamping turned good with a bit of cheating.

This is the one and only time I’m going to show you my bad stamping efforts but it’s for a good cause,  you just have to trust me on that one!
This post was going to start out in a whole other way but right from the beginning it was obvious it would take a different…  |  read more »

Get Smashing.

I’ve only recently got into smash booking just to see what all the fuss is about and I’m dangerously close to being hooked.  It’s totally addictive and so much fun too.  It’s so quick, much quicker than a scrapbook page, less messy than an art journal yet it sits somewhere in between the two. I…  |  read more »

A bit of colour inspiration

For my post today I thought I’d bring you a little colour inspiration which I’ve put together for you below.
I’ve chosen summery bright colours using the cool blue’s and zingy green accented with a bright cheery pink.  I also love the cushion and the arrangement of the colours on the front so I used this…  |  read more »
