I don’t know about you but when I am making cards, I am always working on the front first and placing my sentiment on the outside. Today I want to challenge you to put your sentiment on the inside.

Here is the inside of my card with the sentiment stamp…Of course I am using my FAVORITE Holiday stamp, HO HO HO…

And the arrow stamp is from the Road Trip stamp set. I use this arrow ALL the time!

I hope I inspired you to take your stamps “off the page” and create a fun little book or project to share. It is the perfect way to mix and match stamp sets, too.

Are you enjoying your summer?  Well, I am and I was organizing my stamps the other day and came across my Ho Ho Ho stamps and I got all sentimental when I realized how much I used these over and over last Christmas so I had to put them to work!

Don’t limit yourself to just layouts and cards when it comes to stamping! Take them off the page and bring them to life with a fun gift for a friend. You could easily make this into a gift card holder for a birthday or any other holiday.

I will be using the Funky Flowers stamp set today. I love using different stamp sets for different things. See the two stems in the lower left hand corner? We are going to be using those today, along with the wavy one just above those.

First, grab your ink pad, stamps, acrylic block and some scrap paper to practice:

Next, Ink your stamp and stamp lines next to the photo:

Like this:

Then this:

Then, switch to a straight line to mix them up a bit:

So they will look like this:

Then, I added some to the other side of the photo for some balance:

Just embellish your layout and you have some fun and different journaling lines. I even added a few more cutout stamps from this set and a date stamp from the Notes stamp set, too.

The circle stamp that I am using today is from the Funky Flowers Collection. As you can see, it was designed to be used to build your own flowers but today I am going to use it as a plain old polka dot stamp to create my own background.

First, I just start stamping on my piece…

And Voila! I have my own embellished chipboard piece! Would you have know this stamp was from a Flower Set?

Today I want to share with you a wall hanging that I made with a 12×12 brown paper bag I got with a kit I ordered. I get so many of these kinds of things when I order online and hate to throw them away.

This is a photo of my boys and I had a lot of space at the top of the picture and I didn’t want to trim it down due to the size of the wall hanging so I used my Stazon Ink and stamped with the Sigh Gush Gasp Stamp set directly on the photo.

We have gotten hit hard with snow on the East Coast over the last few weeks so whenever we get a nice day, we get outside if only for a few minutes. I took these photos of my son, Henry, a few weeks ago and when I sat down to scrap the, I just knew I wanted to add some springy elements to it {even though I took this photo in February…shhhh!}.

What better stamp to reach for than the Colorful Companions set? I used my glue pad and added some PK Glitz Pine Forest glitter.

Here is a close-up of the Colorful Companion stamp and the PK Glitz Glitter.

I also used the Just Add Notes set for my date in the upper left hand corner. It is the perfect staple in my stamp collection! I am always reaching for that set, especially when I am journaling or need a date.

First I will demonstrate using the arrow stamp from the Road Trip collection.

This is what it looks like when you normally stamp it:

Here is another example where you can fit it 3 times around in a circle. The more you play with them, the more you will see how many different ways you can use them:

Ellen here and I am challenging you today to use your stamps on something other than paper.

One of my favorite things to do is use my white pigment ink on plain chipboard. I just love the way it looks and it is easy to do! For this layout, I used the Funky Flowers stamp set found here.

Here is a close-up. As you can see, I didn’t use the flower part of the set, I used the little tiny centers as polka dots. It really shows how versatile myStampBOX stamps really are.

You will need a tag {a card or whatever paper you are choosing to work with will do fine}, ink, myStampBOX acrylic stamps and block, and chipboard as seen here:

Begin by stamping your image on your base:

Next, place your chipboard over your stamped image {make sure this is where you want to adhere it}

Now, line up your image by looking through the acrylic block and gently apply pressure {try not to rock too much, just apply lightly because the chipboard will soak up the ink fairly easily}:

Your finished image will look like this:

Now adhere and embellish and you have a great finished product!

As we approach the Holidays, I can’t resist a super cute Holiday stamp set like the HoHoHo set I am showing today.

When I saw these cute little reindeers, I knew I had to stamp them like they were all lined up ready for Santa’s Sleigh. I found this great die-cut candy box that was perfect for some Hershey’s Kisses {I live an hour from there so I have to give them a shout out when I can!} and it was long enough for me to be able to line up the reindeer.

Here are a few different shots. Since it was long, I took a few different angles:

I added sequins for their red noses. I know there is only one Rudolph but they were just too darn cute!

First, I stuffed the box with my dried seeds.

then, I stamped the image of the flower on white cardstock with different colors and then cut each one out of the cardstock. Then, I layered each image and fanned them out so you could see each stamped image below the other one. I finished the box off with some ribbon and tag with the stamped “thanks friend” from the Funky Flowers collection.
