In another week or so, one of my very best friends will return to a full-time teaching position after taking time to raise her three young boys. Her new Kindergarten classroom has an underwater theme, so I decided to make her a fun fishy box to hold anything she needs.
I stamped a strip of cardstock using various blue and green Distress Inks using Birthday Numbers to create a belly band for the box itself. No fish “school” would be complete without counting, right? For the lid, I stamped bubbles from Backgrounds, allowing the inks to blend right on the stamp. I love the effect it creates! Stamping fits in with all types of projects, so be sure to keep it in mind as you prepare for back-to-school this year. Things will go swimmingly if you do!
