Creating a background to a layout

Happy monday, everyone!! Welcome to a new week at myStamp BOX. Els here, and today I would like to show you all a double layout to which I added some subtle stamping to make the finishing touches.

I had made my layout with the patterned paper piece, my pictures, the title, and the few embellishments and didn’t want to add much more to it. I love working with a lot of white space, and often keep my layouts pretty clean and simple. But with this one, it felt as if it was not quite finished yet. So I stamped some clouds of the Wishing you Sunshine set on it.

I again kept it pretty clean and simple. I stamped them all in one color, and limited myself to just stamping them  in two areas of the layout (in the upper right corner and in the lower left corner). Like this a diagonal line is formed, which gives the layout a certain flow. And the clouds are not ‘clouding’ the design .
