Fashion Forward!

Recently I bought a sassy new pair of summer pajamas with fresh colors and a fun print. The t-shirt top has a margarita class design that’s completely outlined in bling. I was inspired by this look and wanted to give it a try with myStamp BOX stamping. Here’s what I made:

I stamped the tiny beverage glass from Symbols in black and used my iRock tool to add tiny bling to outline the design. (Talk about patience!) Stamped starbursts from the Pennants set added an extra pop of pattern on the subtle honeycomb paper. The sentiment is from my favorite words set called Whatever! This fun card is ready to jot down some details for my pal so we can schedule our next pool date.

Inspiration is everywhere! Keep your eyes open for great color combinations in jewelry, funky patterns in handbags, or fabulous textures in clothing. You’ll certainly find a way to translate great fashion design into papercrafting.

Supplies: My Mind’s Eye papers, Die Cuts With a View scalloped card panel, Clearsnap Colorbox Fluid Chalk ink, Ranger Archival Ink, Ranger Stickles, Imaginisce iRock and bling, American Crafts Foam Adhesive, Recollections rhinestone.
