Bookmark Tutorial

Good morning. It’s Janet here with you today.

I’ve been reading a lot this summer while sitting by the pool. I know…life is rough. :)

I thought it would be fun to make myself a bookmark so I’m going to share how I made it.

Step 1

Mark the center of three sides of a 4″ cardstock square.

Step 2

Place your cardstock square on your scoring tool so two of the marked spots are aligned in one groove and score between the markings.

Step 3

Line up the other two markings and create another diagonal score line.

Step 4

Prefold at both score lines.

Step 5

Add a decorative border to the unscored side

Step 6

Cut a  2 3/4″ cardstock square diagonally in your paper cutter.

Step 7

Turn the bookmark over, fold your corners back in and apply 2 way adhesive over them.

Step 8

Adhere a triangle over the flaps. This will keep your bookmark closed.

Step 9

Use  the other triangle on the front of the bookmark and decorate. I used the Funky Flowers collection. Love those little butterflies!

You are done!

Happy reading everyone!
