TITLES say it all

Hey everyone!!  It’s FRIDAY……. which means it’s SHOW & TELL day here at mSB.  I’m so excited to be joining you for another term with the mSB Design Team!!!  You wouldn’t believe how much fun I’m having!!!

I want to share a layout that I created using a few different stamp sets from mSB.  I love it when I can combine multiple stamp sets on a page — and it’s even better when it’s THIS EASY!!!!!!

(If you want to go fast, go alone.  If you want to go far, go together)

I designed the page using four different mSB letter stamp sets: Tall Solids I & II, Colour Me Not I & II, Rustic Outlines and …… one of my new faves……..Summer Alpha.  I’m tellin’ you…….if you’re short a few letter stamp sets, you HAVE GOT TO check these ones out.  You will want (NEED) them in your stash!!!!!

I started with plain white cardstock.  I then placed my photo on the cardstock where I wanted it to be and made a few little pencil “ticks” to mark the photo placement for the stamping process.  I then continued by stamping my layout Title/Journaling (each word at a time) with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed each with white embossing powder.  After my title was fully stamped & embossed, I covered the background & LO edges with three colours of ink:  grey flannel, grey wool & archival black.  I just simply rubbed my ink pads all over the LO …….. nothing fancy……. just crazy!!!!  I rubbed the ink off the embossed letters with a cotton ball to make them stand out & shine.

Here’s a close-up:

Although I always LOVE to hand journal on my layouts ……. sometimes there’s just no need.  Sometimes a title can say it all!!!!
