It’s the 3rd day here at CHA and we are soo busy showing off our new stamp sets. I hope you have been following us on Facebook to see what is going on at our booth (#4227, Kentia Hall).
Today we are featuring one of our new stamp sets: Backgrounds

This set features 2 big background stamps, a bubble wrap and a corrugated cardboard style. These stamps are great for creating either full backgrounds or covering only part of your project.
Here is Maryfrances’ take on the bubble wrap:

And this is what Jill has done: she used the “bubble wrap” stamp from the Backgrounds stamp set to create a rub-on effect. First she stamped the image with Close To My Heart {white} ink and waited for it to dry. She then used CTMH black archival ink and applied the same image to my layout, slightly off-centering it on the stamped image in white. If you look closely, you can see a fine bit of white peeking from underneath the black stamped image. The images look crisp & clean and feel as smooth as an expensive rub-on.

To win our new little stamp set “Mini Pennants”, you need to leave a comment telling us what technique you would use with this set. Please don’t forget your name and location and to check in on Friday, when we announce a winner
Happy Stamping and good luck!

Love what you girls did with those stamps!
Cool background stamps! I wonder what the bubble wrap would like like heat embossed?

Fabulous layout and I’m just drooling over those background stamps.
Love the effect you got Jill with using the two different inks. Super job!!
I would definitely use alot of distressing and stamping, distressing and stamping, repeat as necessary…..lol
Love your work, Jill. You rock!
I would emboss them with clear embossing powder and then use different colored distress inks to color the background.
