Blog Show with Core’dinations

Welcome to our Gallery Showcase that we are holding with one of our partner companies, Core’dinations. Core’dinations has some phantastic card stock! Really thick with a lovely structure, many lines of paper, even with black surface and a hidden colour core. Great for sanding, tearing, embossing and much more. It’s such a fun product to work with!

Today we are showing a few projects that our design team came up with – and we also give away a stamp set! After you are done on our blog, enjoying our designs and commenting, head over to the Core’dinations blog and check out what their design team came up with. There will be another chance to win a prize over there!

by Jolene Johnston

Jolene has used the “Black Magic” collection from Core’dinations, dry embossed and sanded the pieces to bring out the core colour. The sentiment is from the “Oval Office” stamp set.

by Jill Hildebrand

Jill worked with the “Core Essentials” papers. She paired them with transparencies and stamps from the “Abundant Blossoms” and “Lines of Life” stamp sets.

by Jill Hildebrand

Stamps used are from “A flower for you”, “Colour Me” and “Rustic Outlines” stamp sets.

by Maryfrances Fabbri

Maryfrances used paper from the “Core Essentials” family. She used border punches and embossing/sanding techniques. The snowflake stamp is from the “Bits and Pieces” stamp set, a fun set with stamps for many occasions. The sentiment is made with stamps from “Royal Flush Alpha”.

by Bettina von Gross

Since I am tackling many of my own kid pics, I chose paper from “Black Magic” for its subtle colours. Simple tearing reveals the hidden colour and stitching in coordinating threads is all this little layout (6×6″) needs. One of my favourite stamp sets “Mini Alphas” lets me customize any title or info.

by Monique Liedtke

Monique embossed some “Core Essentials” papers and paired them with patterned papers and stamps from the “Happy Birthday” and “Lines of Life” sets for these cute birthday notes.

by Lynda Lindley

Lynda and her daughter teamed up for this adorable trio of note cards. The paper is from the “Vintage Collection” and has a great texture that shows off the flowers from “A flower for you” watercoloured in coordinating colours.

by Bettina von Gross

A 12×12″ layout to celebrate Fall. I used coordinating acrylic paints to stamp the oak leaf from the “Falling Leaves” stamp set. The paper is torn to reveal a large section in the middle. The small maple leaves are punches out of paper from the “Vintage Collection”.

by Ellen Sosnoski

The paper is embossed and sanded to reveal a darker core. Stamp Sentiment is from the “Oval Office” set.
