Hi everyone, welcome to the MSB blog! Here in Italy scrapbooks supplies are very expensive and it’s usually hard to find the latest collections. That’s why I always save all my scraps, even the tiny ones. Do you do that?
My challenge for you today is to use your scraps to scrap a LO and with the “scraps of the scraps” do a card!!!
Here’s my page:
I started working with a base cardstock (the only thing that wasn’t a scrap) and used all my coordinating scrap papers to embellish my page. To give a little accent I used my Colorful Companions set and stamp a few butterflies, I give them dimension with some rolled up glue dots underneath the wings and added some glitter.
and here’s the card:
For my card I used the scraps from the scraps (The blue white dotted paper is a scrap, I cut it from the center of the LO… and the “hole” is covered by my kraft cardstock…. super savy!). I added a butterfly from my Colorful Companions set and used my Road Trip set over white cardstock to give a wavy pattern and a little texture.
I hope you give this a try! and if you do don’t forget to share the link in the comments!
bye!

lOVE your LO, eva!!!!! Love all the little details on it, you queen-of-scrap!!!! I always have a bucket-ful of scraps on my desk to add to my pages or cards — so incredibly fast & easy. i always find a fun, quirky paper in there to staple to my pages (gives a little “pop” sometimes). thanks for the great inspiration today, Eva!!!!!
Such a great way of getting your money’s worth from your scrap supply!!

I really love how you used the wavy stamp on your card…really neat. Way to use those scraps. Sorry things are so expensive. I think you should take a trip to the US and shop while you are here.
I love how you used kraft as your card base, it makes the other colors just sing!
