This weekend I dug into my water colour crayons and created some colourful papers. I love to make my own papers and try out lots of different colour combinations. One of the pages inspired me to make a mini memory book/card for my friend Lynne, who will be moving soon.
I cut up the paper (12×9) into equal pieces of 3×4, creased them in the middle and glued the front of the pages together to create a mini book (see the picture of the whole booklet). Two single 2×3 pieces made up the “covers” and were glued to the front and back. I used the Professional Acid Free Glue by Helmar, which makes a very strong bond and dries super quickly.
The stamped different words and phrases on the little pages to remember things that my friend and I shared in the past years, using the Mini Alphabet stamp set. The letters are great to write little captures on cards and layouts with.

Here is the cover and a couple of pages:

And now I would like to announce the winner of last weeks’ draw, the winner of the Abundant Blossoms stamp set. Linda Smith wrote: “My garden isn’t doing great. I cleaned it up and it has snowed twice since. We need some warmer weather to get things growing.” Congratulations Linda, please send your address to contest@mystampbox.com and I will put the set in the mail asap.
Thanks for playing everyone!
Until next time,
Happy stamping!
Bettina
