I hate the snow….but, my kids love it and I love the photos that I get of them playing in it. I didn’t realize how many “snow” papers come in blue. Perfect if you have a boy, but not so much for a little girl with pink mittens!
After searching my stash and finding NOTHING with pink, I decided to just alter something I already had. I found a white sheet with some glittered snowflakes on it. I pulled out my “Let it Snow” stamps and found that the pattern was identical, so I grabbed some pink glitter and was able to turn my paper into exactly what I was looking for.
By stamping some of the images off of the page it gives it a more “natural” and balanced look. I found a plain white ribbon, and using the smallest of the stamps in the same set, I added small flakes to my ribbon. I opted for black instead of pink, so as not to over power the photos.
I finished up my page by adding my title, and some felt snowflakes. I added little pink gems to the center of each felt flake for the final touch of sparkle.
So get out those stamps, grab something “Pink” and lets see what you come up with!
