A quick gift container

I love being able to create quick containers, which allow me to come up with a gift at very short notice.

Now these containers were certainly not my idea and there have been many instructions on how to create them posted on the net over the last couple of years.

Here is a quick guide on how I created this little box. As you come to expect from me there are absolutely no measurements around as I just play by eye…but if I am not totally mistaken this sheet of paper was about 4 x 6″.

1. Place some double sided tape along all edges of the paper strip
2. Roll the paper strip and adhere as shown below

3. Now adhere the bottom of the strip

4. For a professional look, you can use a crimper at the bottom closure

5. Fill your container with candy or maybe embellishments for a crafty friend and press the ends together in the opposite direction of the bottom bit (sorry, I cannot explain it better – if you look at the picture you will see what I mean)

5 Now embellish the outside with your favoruite stamped images.
