Sarah lives in Chesterfield, Indiana, with her handy husband Steve, her two active daughters and baby boy Carter. She likes to scrapbook night and day if possible and has made a ton of friends through scrapbooking. Sarah is thrilled that she has found a hobby that she loves this much.

Q1. How would you describe your scrapping style?

Traditional Whimsy

Q2. Is there a specific colour combo that you find yourself using over and over?

I definitely find myself using the color combo of either (teal, green, & pink) or (teal, green & orange) over and over again. Even though I try, I can’t seem to stay away from these color combos.

Q3. Do your family and friends “get” your scrapbooking?

I have absolutely no family what so ever that scrapbooks, so even though they don’t get it they do still appreciate the time and effort that goes into it. I do however have many internet friends and a few from my LSS that I can share my passions/   obsession with.

Q4. Do you prefer to make cards, layouts, mini albums or other altered projects?

I definitely am a layout kind of girl. It’s what I love the most because I can incorporate my photos! I do frequently make cards, occasionally altered items, and never mini albums which is something that I am trying to change because I do LOVE them.

Q5. If you had to choose between spending a day with your celebrity “crush” or keeping your scrapbooking supplies, which would you choose and why?

Oh my goodness, keep my scrappin’ supplies no contest. My supplies make me happy just by looking at them, and the photos and albums have brought me and my family tons of joy and will continue to do so in the future. Also, I’m very happily married to a very handsome fellow, so there’s not much of a crush to speak of!

Happy Birthday – birthday card
Sarah used the happy birthday flower stamp on the outside of the card and the Happy Birthday and present stamps on the pull out.

Smile – refrigerator magnet
Sarah simply stamped the word onto a piece of white cardstock and then matted it with coordinating patterned paper to match the photo frames. Then she placed a self-adhering magnetic strip on the back.

Happy Birthday – gift basket tag
Sarah used the happy birthday stamp and flower stamp on the tag of the gift basket and used a green marker to color the inside of the stamped flower.

Thank you so much for sharing these fabulous projects with us today, Sarah! We love the fun colours and new types of projects. The gift basket is very creative!

Sarah will show us a favourite stamping technique on June 25th. Make sure to visit.

Happy stamping,

love, Bettina
