Tall Outlines

My all time favourite alphabet stamp set in the world is the Tall Outlines set.  I find it is so versatile, allowing me to achieve many different looks with one single stamp set.

 This first project is a mini book I created as a project kit for Paws on Scrapbooking.  To make the cover, I stamped my title in paint directly onto the denim.  Once it dried, I covered the entire letter with Glossy Accents.  It soaked right into the denim and gave me a really neat effect.

Throughout the interior, I used the same set in a variety of ways.  I stamped directly onto paper, tags and even a  file folder.  I also stamped on patterned paper,  cut the letters out and adhered them to chipboard embellishments.  Sometimes I cut them out as individual letters, another time, I made a title block.  It really keeps things interesting for everyone.

Please don’t hate me for this next project!  Though some of you are still getting the odd snow fall in May, I know you really don’t want to be reminded of it again.  So look fast and concentrate on the title work! 

I taught a class a few weeks ago on alcohol inks and of course showed off my favourite alphabet stamps.

Notice how great the size of these letters is for pairing with alphabet stamps and/or stickers  you already have.   They are great for creating layered titles.

As a side note, take one more quick peek at this page.  Just above the title, the date stamp is from the Just Add Notes set.  I am all about putting a date on all my pages. This set has really given me some fun new ways to do that.
