so I was thinking that our blog hop was SOOOOO much fun! LOVED it. But based on the comments left at my site, you guys liked tags. So I though I would show the step by step of how I start creating tags and then I would reveal a plethora of different tags. So my thought for creating tags is, I create a whole bunch when we have movie night. These tags are randomly stamped, various colours, and I leave them still with space open so that I can finish them according to what I’m going to do with them. So these tags I will show will probably go on birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, maybe a little random act of kindness. Use your creativity and imagination. have fun! So let’s make some of these…

so let’s quickly review. start with a plain tag from Staples or any local office supply store.

then choose your ink colour of choice, blend ink from the edge ink in circular motions around the edge, then start stamping images…

in this case, I am going to use this fabulous petal as a way to make a completely covered background image.
then, do a little decoration. I sprayed glimmer mist all over in gold , and added a few small touches.

Now, that was the sample from my blog, let’s create some new ones…
you will see on a few tags below that I did spray different colours of glimmer mist, it adds such a neat shimmer effect and adds some dimension.

sometimes the little details you add, just make your card pop! for example, I love this tag because the stamp is sooooo my favourite set, but I added just little Robin’s Nest dew drops. They are so simple, but effective.

or maybe try just adding flowers, Kaiser Craft pearls, glimmer mist

other things to add to tags:
- rubons
- stickers
- chipboard shapes
- paint
- photos
- ribbon
- vinyl
- decorative tape
- buttons
- rhinetsones
ways to alter your tags:
- tearing
- sanding edges
- painting
- crumpling then inking
HAVE FUN!
So….tag your it. If you create a tag email me it, I’d LOVE to add it to the blog for some interaction.
