Today our fabulous guest designer Lori Roop will share one of her favourite stamping techniques with you: Heat Embossing! Time to pull out those many colours of your embossing powders and get to work.
Heat embossing brings an instant boost to almost any card or image. I used heat embossing on both of these cards. I love the added dimension that heat embossing gives the images!
Directions
step 1: Ink up stamp in Versamark (do not stamp versamark onto cardstock if you want a colored outline).
step 2: Ink up versamarked stamp in colored ink.
step 3: Stamp image onto cardstock.
step 4: Immediately sprinkle with clear embossing powder. Tab off excess powder.
step 5: Emboss with heat tool.

stamps: she says – he says, splash me a lot, card stock: white, so saffron by Stampin’ UP, ribbon: Offray, nestabilities: label 1
other: corner rounder, cuttlebug, pom-pom trim, rhinestones, twine, clear embossing powder

stamps: she says – he says, splash me a lot, card stock: my reflections, rub-ons: Basic Grey, ribbon: offray, brads: the Paper studio, other: clear embossing powder, machine stitching, corner rounder
It’s as easy as pie……heat embossing can be used so many different ways! That reminds me…I should use it more often!!
Thanks for having me, Lori
Those are beautiful cards, I love the little rhinestones on the heart card and the initial that is tied to it. The ribbon and stitching on the boy card is a lot of fun! Lori, it was a pleasure to have you with us during April! Thank you for sharing your terrific style with us. You have been truly inspiring.
