Trace Geworsky
My blog title is pretty cheesy, but as Manitoba is finally welcoming our first sign of spring weather, the term 5 ducks in a row came to mind, and since i only made cards for this post..well..im sure you get the picture;
Im not a huge card maker, as I prefer layouts and mini albums, so this month I wanted to try something different and only go with cards.
I tend to keep my card style rather simple, and my trend right now is using old, dictionary paper with kraft cardstock.

Card #1 “we”
supplies used: stamps: my Stamp BOX: she says-he says, bazzill kraft cardstock, patterned paper: October afternoon & Making Memories, square punch:EK Success, flower:Prima, ribbon: Bazzill,Button & dictionary paper: Misc, pop dots: EK Success, ink: Ranger
***I wanted some sort of a grid design on the inside of the card, so I traded a flower for the 6th square of patterned paper.
I simply stamped the title on one square, while adhering 2 stamped figurines to the top of the card, using pop dots.

CARD #2 “love has bloomed”
supplies used: alpha stamps: my Stamp BOX-lots of dots, flower stamps: my Stamp BOX- He loves me..., circle stamps: seal it!, bazzill kraft cardstock, bling:Prima, ink:Tim Holtz, fiskars treading water punch, pop dots:EK Success
I stamped each flower petal onto dictionary paper, and then trimmed around the images. I stamped 3 different sizes of circles, and layered them using pop dots, for the flower center.

CARD #3 “spring”
supplies used:alpha stamps: my Stamp BOX-Splash me a little!, flower stamps: funky flowers, bazzill cardstock, Patterned paper: Making memories, glue pad: Tsukinenko, glitter:Doodlebug design inc, ink:Ranger

CARD #4 “love”
stamps: my Stamp BOX- she says-he says, birthday balloons, kraft bazzill cardtsock, patterned paper: Making Memories, fiskars treading water punch, pop dots: EK Success, ink:Stampin up & Ranger
I tore out a journaling piece of paper to use as the matt for my card, and then stamped the larger figurines onto the paper..from there, I built the card around those elements.

CARD #5 “hugs and kisses”
supplies used: stamps: my Stamp BOX-she says-he says, bazzill cardstock, prima packaging, bling:Prima, ink:Tim Holtz, ribbon: misc
I loved the packaging that came with the Prima bling, so i used it for my card. Not wanting to compete with the busy polka dot paper, I stamped the small figurines along the sides of the card.

Love these! I love the dictionary paper, that’s awesome
these are adorable. You do such fun things with the potty ppl.
The use of the text paper with the stamps is my favorite!
Great cards Trace!!
